Eat your fruits and veggies

I started Courtney on solids at 4 months because I was hoping they'd help her sleep through the night. I did all my reading and did what the pediatrician said, started with the cereals, then veggies and then later introduced the fruits. It was all going so well. She'd eat all kids of veggies - squash, cauliflower, avocado, sweet potatoes and so on. And she loved the fruits - mango, apples, bananas - whatever I would give to her. At some point in the past 3 months, I gave her yogurt and she LOVES it. LOVES it. And now, she won't eat her veggies to save my live and all she wants is the dumb yogurt. She looks at the veggies, snubs her nose at them, turns her head and laughs at me.

I'm still nursing so the nutritional value from the food isn't as important as the exercise in eating. But I don't want her to end up like Paul: everything she eats must be white. How do I get her back to eating her veggies? At least she's eating her fruits with her yogurt but she's going to end up with this crazy sweet tooth. I started out making her food, then switched to jarred but I still make some of it myself. I made a sweet potato the other day and she wanted nothing to do with it. I even added apple to it to sweeten it up and nada. (I ended up eating it myself, it was quite yummy.)

Anyone have any tips for me?

Her bad eating habits could have something to do with eating napkins

Or maybe because she's eating the actual jar of babyfood

However, the blueberries were quite delish

Very cute photos!
Try mixing the veggies into the yogurt. Tommy loved yogurt and green beans, yogurt and asparagus...
