Baby steps

Tomorrow marks Courtney's 8 month birthday. Can you believe it? I can't. It's hard to believe that my baby girl is 2/3 of the way to a year. It's also hard to believe that in just a month, she will have been in the outside world as long as she was in my stomach. But more on that in a month.

Courtney has been pulling herself up on everything lately. She loves to stand more than just about anything else. No matter how tired she is, she's on her feet. She'll even stand at the ottoman and put her head down on it, like she's resting. But yesterday she decided that standing wasn't going to cut it anymore. It's time to get a move on.

Of course, I didn't have the camera up when she first got going but she was moving around the room for sure!

Oh, and my baby isn't really this white trash kid who never wears shirts or pants. These were just special occasions.
